Power House is a gallery located at Leeds Industrial Museum which talks about the subject of engines and how they impact our world.

We were tasked to make the space more engaging, we used interactive content and generated excitement through strong colour and the use of bold text. Drawing inspiration from the details and patterns of the engines we designed a stylised suite of shapes that created unity in the gallery space.

We adapted this design through wayfinding graphics, interpretation banners hung from chains, light boxes and large scale vinyls which all worked together to transform the exhibition interior.

“DUO were perfect for this project. The gallery in question had been cold and uninviting. They instantly understood what we were looking for and quickly came up with a fresh and vibrant design that has made a huge improvement on how the Power House space looks. They were very amenable to suggested changes and worked really flexibly with us. Their use of colour and shape really stood out on this project. Working with DUO was a really enjoyable and positive experience.”
